Fun event this weekend. 1st Annual Golden Valley BBQ Pork/ Bacon Festival at Veterans Park in Golden Valley. It's an old fashioned town carnival. Start your day with pancakes hot from the kitchen of the American Legion. Then join our competitors and show off your groups talents and have fun with your neighbors by sampling and voting on, BBQ pork, and the craziest bacon creation. Enjoy the games small and large, raffles and 50/50 etc. There is an AR 15 RIFLE from E3 / Plum crazy arms. High noon enjoy lunch while watching a skit by the pistoleros and roses, followed with two hours of music performed by Moonshadow. Get your Yodel on with the Utah yodler and Miss Joyce. And you can't forget to wander crafters corner for that gotta get it gift, while the kids play on a bouncy house, enjoy horse and pony rides, and much more. If you have an idea share with us.
